The Italian answer to the champagne takes its name from the Prosecco variety that is cultivated mainly in Venice area. When you drink Prosecco, forget all complicated wine definitions as complexity, depth, level of the extract… Prosecco is like to walk barefoot in the morning dew, to dive in a mountain pool, to bite a juicy peach and its juice to flow under your chin – with every sip you feel an explosion of perceptions. Some people define it as a wine for summer, for garden party or take it as a perfect aperitif. In fact prosecco could accompany every little occasion for celebration in our everyday life.
The wine is light and sparkling, delicate and fruity. Bursting in the mouth fine bubbles bring a sense of apple, pear and almond, elegant hues of lemon and grapefruit followed by a pleasantly bitter colourful finale.
Suitable food - it is recommended to be consumed as an aperitif or with seafood.
